Interested in Making a Donation? The Sheridan WYO Rodeo Queen Board is a non-profit organization who serves to educate and prepare girls for rodeo royalty competitions and work with the reigning royalty after the competition in their role as ambassadors for the state of Wyoming, Sheridan County, the sport of rodeo, and the western way of life. The Sheridan WYO Rodeo Royalty competition is for girls age 10-24, with three categories: Queen, Princess, and Jr. Princess. This competition is held in conjunction with the Sheridan WYO Rodeo. The girls are judged in three categories: horsemanship, personality, and appearance. These categories consist of completing a reigning pattern, knowledge of rodeo, horses, tack, current events, political issues and people, the state of Wyoming, personal interviews, appearance, and modeling. The contestants have to score at least a 70% in every category to be considered for Sheridan WYO Rodeo Royalty. The Sheridan WYO Rodeo Queen will then represent Sheridan the following year at the Miss Rodeo Wyoming Competition held at the Wyoming State Fair in Douglas. Why invest in the Sheridan WYO Rodeo Queen Board? Our Sheridan County WYO Queen is a great resource to use for advertising what Sheridan area has to offer. She is one of the only traveling ambassadors Sheridan County has, and travel she does. Our local rodeo queen typically travels to many areas within the state, as well as to other states where she is attending rodeos, various western events, other state’s rodeo queen clinics and competitions, and speaking at schools and other organizations. The Sheridan WYO Rodeo Queen is a representative for Sheridan County, an advocate for rodeo, and a spokeswoman for keeping our western heritage alive, not to mention a positive role model for the public. The contacts and opportunities she encounters are endless. Our program has helped to develop the first Miss Rodeo Wyoming from Sheridan County and we need your support to continue our quality program. If you feel led to donate to our program we in turn give you advertising opportunities, which include a listing in our program book and on our website: www.wyorodeoroyalty.com with a link to your business’s website if you so choose. Our royalty will be glad to assist you or your business, such as making appearances. We are always looking for saddle and scholarship donors and if you choose to donate $200 or more your name is advertised on the rodeo queen’s truck. We appreciate your consideration and look forward to hearing from you. If you are interested in making a donation, contact:
