Reata Cook is the 10 year old daughter of Jay & Kerri Cook. She is a 5th grader at Highland Park Elementary School. Reata is a well-rounded girl as she enjoys music, sports, and ranch life.

Reata is in her school honor choir and show choir and plays the violin in orchestra. Reata also loves sports. She plays volleyball, is proud to be on the Sheridan Lil’ Lady Broncs traveling basketball team, and of course is involved in rodeo where she runs barrels and poles. Reata likes to spend her free time practicing her sports, and pull-ups. She is determined to beat the school pull-up record for the third year in a row.

Reata also enjoys being outdoors. Whether she’s fishing, helping with the ranch work, or just doing her chores like feeding bum calves, mucking stalls, or whatever else her dad or grandpa need done she is ready and willing.

Reata has a younger brother, Cinch, who she is either adoring or fighting with; it just depends on the day. Reata would also like you to know that she loves spending time with her many friends and cousins, and would someday like to be a veterinarian.

Reata says, “Being Sheridan WYO Rodeo Jr. Princess is a lot of fun. We get to do lots of exciting things and be a part of many events around Sheridan. My favorite though is riding fast around the arena on Patches.”.
